The Bath International Music Festival’s late-night staging of an opera at the Roman Baths provided us with a unique opportunity to film in these beautiful surroundings. The added attraction of a re-enactment of the sea battle of Quiberon Bay between the French and the British, with radio controlled ships firing real guns and duelling divas, made it an occasion not to be missed.
